Best Foods teamed up as the Gold Sponsor with Comedy Festival for a second year to bring you the 2019 New Zealand International Comedy Festival. It was our mission to design and implement the digital strategy and creative across both brands to not only promote the festival but also leverage the event sponsorship. We are more excited than ever to be spreading the laughs and the mayo for another season of comedy!

The design and animation team at Flight Digital enjoyed merging two household brands to create content that visually represented and stood true to both.
We thought we mayo’s well chuck in a few mayo puns and with a 68% engagement rate we regret nothing.
It is a well known fact that Kiwis love Best Foods mayo and a concordant belly laugh, the combo is a national stand out. Through cross domain tracking we were able to leverage off their combined efforts and target a venn diagram of mayo AND comedy lovers across Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Not only did we achieve sponsorship recall with 71% of Auckland and Wellington we broke the record for fastest sold out Comedy Gala in 7 years.
