Creating a classic.

The challenge: To craft and deliver a memorable and effective visual identity/brand system for ‘GZH’ (Grammar Zone Homes). A trusted & professional real estate service in Central Auckland specialising in Residential homes in the coveted ‘Grammar Zone‘

The brief.

A high end and ‘premium’ brand image has been developed with a classic sense of humble know how and expertise executed through carefully considered design techniques and well planned graphic strategy. Celebrating the roots and history of the Grammar Zone business, it’s geographical context and the service provided by GZH form the reference points for the brands look and feel. An aesthetic sensibility influenced by classic Grammar School design techniques and notions solidifies the brand in it’s context and coveys its service and offering whilst the modernist layouts and contemporary type faces employed give the brand an over arching sense of currency and being ‘in touch’ ‘with their finger on the pulse’.

Playing on the classic school crest and royal heraldry we create a ‘mark’ and ‘crest’ that is a balance of both traditional luxury and refined modernism. Playing on the ideals of ‘premium service’ and ‘high-end expertise’ through an elegant custom serif typeface used for the logotype, adding sharp cuts and angles to the serifs creating a sense of modern agility and forward-thinking. Positioning the GZH brand as a long-trusted, forward-thinking expert.
