Flight Digital and University of Auckland launch app for diabetic teens

We're pumped to announce our collaboration with the University of Auckland. Flight Digital is helping to support their ongoing diabetes research program and addressing a crucial issue - the mental health and well-being of teenagers dealing with Type 1 diabetes (T1D).

Teens with T1D face higher rates of psychological distress, especially with the added challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. To support this group, we've teamed up with the University of Auckland in developing an online tool using COMPASS, a self-compassion chatbot inside a progressive web app (PWA).

Being able to use our expertise in customer experience strategy, design, and technology to make a positive impact on people's lives is what gets us up in the morning.

We hugely appreciate having been trusted with such an important project and we're excited about the future of our partnership with the University of Auckland.
